We offer a number of FREE services available to our community residents. Including blood pressure checks and blood glucose checks, among many other services. For questions contact the ambulance base with any questions.

Event Standby
To schedule an ambulance for an event please fill out the form below. If you do not need a dedicated ambulance for your event then the on duty crew will cover your event based on availability. Please give at least 5 days notice prior to your event.
Ride Along with the Ambulance
We have a ride along program, where a person 16 years and older can ride along on ambulance. If you were interested please fill out the forms below and return to the District Administrator to get scheduled to ride.
Non-Emergency Transfers
A transport is considered non-emergency if a patient is moving to or from a health facility, or between health facilities, for a medically necessary reason. This is not a result of a sudden or unexpected deterioration in the patient’s condition. A non-emergency transport does not require immediate management of life, limb or function-threatening conditions. These types of transports are for patients being discharged from the hospital and are unable to use conventional means of transportation, or those requiring specialized diagnostic and treatment available only at specific hospitals.
Private insurance plans have varying rules and requirements regarding ambulance services being covered for non-emergency transports. Your insurance company will most likely require that non-emergency ambulance service be medically necessary and not used for the convenience of the patient, the transferring facility, or the physician. Your insurance plan may require prior approval, a doctor’s signature, or may not cover any non-emergency ambulance service at all. It is best to check with your insurance company before making any arrangements.
When calling for non-emergency ambulance service, please be prepared to provide the basic patient information and the type of transfer (ALS,BLS) being requested, form of payment or insurance confirmation for payment, and date patient is to be transferred. Non-Emergency transfers are done at the availability of off duty crew members. To request a non-emergency ambulance transport please call 660-668-5006.
